Both players do feature a rear Ethernet port for a more stable connection.
Inputs/Outputs
Both models are equipped with a frontal USB port that allows you to plug in a storage device or smartphone/tablet for playing media. The UP870 has a single HDMI output, while the UP970 has dual HDMI outputs. Both players also have an optical audio output.
