No, 1080p Full HD Is Not Dead Yet!

1080p full hd isn't dead yetOf course all the hype right now is about 4k Ultra-HD TVs and Blu-ray. It's a higher resolution than 1080p Full HD and delivers a phenomenal clarity, but is it really worth it? The honest answer is yes, it's worth it. However, that doesn't mean that 1080p HD is dead. In fact, 1080p delivers an extremely clear picture, and many movies are still being produced at this resolution. Both DVD and Blu-ray still have a massive market for 1080p HD discs, and it doesn't look like that's going to end anytime soon.

The question is this - do you really need 4k UHD? No, you don't. And unless it really really matters to you, you'd be better off saving your cash. We specialize in Multi-system TVs and Region-Free Players, so if anything we'd want you to purchase the latest and greatest technology at a higher price, right??? Wrong.

We have a lot of really great deals on Multisystem Full HD Smart TVs, which means you can get a lot more for your budget when compared to 4k models. For example, check out the LG 55LF550 55-inch HD TV, which we're selling for just $699. It's a great TV, and it has all you need for watching TV, Blu-ray, or DVDs. While it's not a smart TV, nearly all Blu-ray Players feature Wi-Fi and streaming media. In other words, if you have a fairly new Blu-ray player you won't miss out on any of the features you love, like audio sharing and bluetooth connectivity. So yes, with a 1080p HD TV you can have a newer, larger TV and enjoy all the features you want without spending 30% to 50% more.

In contrast, check out the LG 55UH603 55-inch 4k Smart TV, which costs $1,040. It's an excellent TV for the price, but do you really need to pay $350 more for a 4K model? Do you really need it? The choice is yours.

Did you see the film 'The Raid 2', pictured above? Remember the amazing camera work and intense fight scenes? That film was 1080p HD, proving that Full HD is still totally acceptable quality.

Whatever your choice is, we're happy to help you find the right Multisystem TV. We're not against 4k - we love 4k... We just like to keep our customers aware and let them know that it's okay if you don't have a TV with the latest technology. 1080p Full HD is not dead yet, and we'll continue to bring you the best deals out there so you can spend your hard-earned money wisely.
