Motion blur exists in LCD TV when reproducing fast moving images because of the "holding" nature of the existing technology. One frame is displayed and held until another appears. As a result, the continuous motion appears jittered with after-images, causing motion blur.

Meta Brain Pro  Frame Booster doubles the number of the frames by creating a new frame to be inserted between the two original frames. This shortens the "holding" time of each frame by half, hence, minimizing the motion blur problem effectively. Besides, since the new frames are created with motion compensation, Digital Frame Booster is able to reproduce smoother moving images.


Dual Pass Intelligent MADi
Motion and static images are detected in each frame. Odd and even picture fields are merged with motion compensation according to the degree of movement. Dual Pass Intelligent Motion Adaptive De-interlacing(MADi) does such progressive process not once but twice to ensure ultra smooth contours of both moving and static objects.


Intelligent Backlight Control
The brightness of the backlight is automatically adjusted according to the sophisticated histogram analysis of the brightness and location of dark portions in each scene. Therefore, deeper black in dark scenes (where dark portions cover most of the screen) is reproduced by reducing the backlight intensity.
