This dvd
player has been modified to play all region DVDs. It carries a
1 year warranty for parts and labor, and if you find a problem
within a month we will replace the unit. Furthermore, our
modification allows the highest level of versatility for
playing all region discs. It comes set as Automatic region
selection, however it also has a manual scan feature that will
change regions when you encounter a disc that does not play in
automatic mode such as a RCE coded disc. Unlike the cheaper
modifications, are modification will not require the user to
memorize difficult codes to change regions. Our players will
scan each region until it finds the correct one.

Toshiba's slim, affordable SD-770 DivX Home Theater Certified
has many standard features such as progressive-scan
component-video outputs and built-in decoding for MP3 music
files, as well as JPEG image CD playback so you can enjoy
digital slideshows right in the living room. It also converts
any-region-encoded PAL-formatted discs (the standard in
Europe) for viewing on standard NTSC televisions used in North
America. It's a good choice for an entry level player for a
basic TV setup.
Although it will work on newer LCD, Plasma,
DLP, and other TV's, you may want to look at our HD
upconverting HDMI output players for if you own a newer TV or
are looking to upgrade your current TV in the near future.

This is a good option for older NON flat
screen TV's. Easy hook up, comes with the yellow, red and
whit cables, and works good. Picture quality is not as good
as my other player which is the Toshiba SD-4990 hooked up to my plasma tv,
but for the TV i'm using it on I can't complain.

Just wanted to thank you guys for such a wonderful product. It played all

Plays region 2 pal no problem

I searched fore ages for a player that would play my region 2 pal movies on
a NTSC tv here in CA. I bought one, before but it didn't work, everything
came out black and white. Then the store I bought it from told me that I
need to buy another video converter to go with it. Finally I found you guys
and bought this player. For the price I couldn't go wrong. It plays all my
movies, it was easy to hook up, and I was impressed by the speed of your
