not have a built in converter! This means that you will be able to play
Pal discs on a Pal TV, and NTSC Discs on a NTSC TV. If you have a multi
system TV that supports Pal and NTSC then you will be able to play both
Pal and NTSC discs on your TV. In order to play a Pal dvd on a NTSC
tv, you will need a external
Video Converter.
This dvd player will
not play a PAL (European) movies on a NTSC (United States) TV. To do this
you will also need to buy a
video converter.
PAL and NTSC Playback:
The dvd player will playback Pal DVD's on a Pal TV and
NTSC DVD's on an NTSC TV. To play back Pal DVD's on an NTSC TV you will need
to buy a video converter also available on our website; or you can buy one
of your dvd players with a built in converter.

film-based. Utilizing advanced progressive scan1 playback techniques
and very accurate MPEG video decoders, this home theater system
provides an image that faithfully represents the image you see at

The speakers included with our home theater packages come in all
shapes and sizes, from slim tall-boy tower speakers to unobtrusive
bookshelf satellites, so they'll fit into your room no matter what

speaker on top of your TV and the left/right speakers close by. It
won't cause any problems because our speakers feature magnetic
shielding that prevents the magnets inside your speakers from
affecting your TV's image.

Recordings Sound Like the Original Performance
When compressed digital audio such as MP3s and movie soundtracks is
created, higher frequencies are lost due to limited frequency
response. Most of these frequencies can't be heard by human ears,
but their presence conveys subtle nuances. When they're missing in a
digital recording, it doesn't quite sound the same as the live
performance. Our multi re-master feature examines the audio signal
and helps compensate for these lost frequencies, providing sound
quality closer to the original performance.

Digital Decoder
Used to decode Dolby Digital soundtracks found on DVDs and HDTV
broadcasts. A 5.1 channel format, Dolby Digital provides three front
channels, two rear channels, and a subwoofer. The newest incarnation
of Dolby Digital, called Dolby Digital EX, adds a third rear
channel.

Progressive Scanning
Progressive Scanning (480p) creates a picture signal with double the
scan lines of a conventional DVD interlaced picture (480i),
resulting in higher picture resolution, sharper image quality, and
the elimination of virtually all motion artifacts. In order to take
advantage of a progressive scan DVD player, your TV must be capable
of accepting and displaying a progressive scan signal (480p).
