The NVDS11B employs a high density 1/4 inch CCD featuring 570,000 pixels to help retain sharp definition. This extra large capacity CCD also helps maintain high picture quality when using the Super Image Stabiliser
16-bit/12-bit PCM Stereo Sound
For DAT level fidelity, record at 16-bit 2-channel with 48 kHz sampling or record at 12-bit 4-channel with 32 kHz sampling (dual stereo) to enable overdubbing
LP Recording Mode - In addition to the regular SP mode, the NVDS11B also allows recording in the LP mode. Using the new 80 minute miniDV cassette a full two hours recording on a single cassette can be achieved

Digital Photo Shot
Used as a still camera, the NVDS11B can record a digital still picture for about 7 seconds with sound. One 60-minute tape holds about 750 stills (LP mode)

X40/x400 Digital Zoom
The digital zoom takes over above the x20 optical zoom giving distant subjects up to x40 magnification. Super Digital Zoom blows up images to x400
